Pulp and Paper

The pulp and paper industry converts raw and recycled pulp into jumbo rolls. This is later used to make printing and writing papers, packaging materials, tissue and countless other paper products. Paper mills rely on highly techinical industrial equipment to process, clean, and dry the raw materials (pulp) into various grades of paper rolls.

R.Dan Pulp and Paper

The pulp and paper industry is a highly competitive market. Paper makers have to find solutions to be competitive because of globalization of the paper trade, shifts in technology, consumer behavior, and the ever rising operational costs. Paper makers have to not only think of how to make their highly specialized systems work efficiently but how to be sustainable and competitive in our ever challenging market.

Partnership

It's a mutual partnership when papermakers work with a supplier, as we rely on each other to understand the technology and continuously improve our products. This was part of the vision of R. Dan & Co., Inc. when founded by Mr. Robert Dan as a consulting company for the paper industry in 1954.

In 1993 we started a joint venture with Sulzer Escher Wyss, now known as Voith Paper. Ever since, we've manufactured state-of-the-art paper-making systems while providing professional engineering, installation, and start-up services.
